Please create an order search filter option that will search customer orders for a specific IP address and also record the IP address that a customer was on when they set up the account. Currently IP addresses are only recorded on completed orders, limiting our ability to block criminals that were unable to complete the order for other reasons. We find that criminals blocked by one system keep trying until they get a card/account combo that works.
If we were able to search for IP addresses we will be able to identify instances where criminals are opening multiple accounts using different names, different credit cards, etc. Once one account is flagged for fraud they often create several others using additional variables to "beat the system" . Example (change the name, ship next door, change the credit card, new email address, etc).
