Block Products to be Shipped to Some States

I have certain products that can't by law shipped to California. So a customer may order an item then I need to contact, refund and cancel order. I would be great to have an "Exclude List" for products to specify states that cannot be shipped to specific locations.

this would be great.. we have some of these issues also.. having to cancel an order even though on the product it states it can't ship to a particular location. having an exclusion list to check and then select states that the item cannot ship to... maybe have it located in the "shipping Information" section on the product information?
