What's new on Shift4Shop

The latest version of the software is now available. Please find the notes for this version below. Your store will be updated based on the ongoing release schedule.

Enhancements:

1. Orders Hub- Implemented an enhancement that allows filtering orders by payment type to improve order management efficiency.
2. Orders Hub- An enhancement was made to improve filter readability and consistency by using a cleaner, table-like structure with separate columns for Field, Condition, and Value. This ensures selected filters are normalized and provides a more consistent user experience.
3. Orders Hub-An enhancement was made to provide feedback during searches that take longer to process, ensuring users are aware that the system is working.
4. Orders Hub- An enhancement was made so that merchants no longer need to make exceptions to third-party cookie policies.
5. PayPal- Implemented an enhancement that enables updating package tracking numbers in PayPal to eliminate duplicate tracking entries.
6. Fraud Prevention- Upgraded fraud protection to Kount 360 to enhance risk assessment and fraud detection capabilities.

Bugfixes:

1. Orders- Resolved an issue causing keywords to not persist when transitioning between statuses.
2. Orders-Resolved an issue preventing multiple orders in New status from being updated during a bulk action.
3. Orders- Resolved an issue where previous orders were being affected by edits made to checkout questions.
4. Orders- Resolved an issue where errors occurred when sorting orders by column.
5. Shipping- Resolved an issue where active shipment tracking numbers were not being canceled when an order was canceled.
6. Payments-Resolved an issue where shipping information was missing after completing checkout using Apple Pay.
7. Payments- Resolved an issue where orders completed using Authorize.net were not appearing in the admin.
8. Payments- Resolved an issue where multiple orders were being declined without the proper decline status.
9. Product- Resolved an issue where an error was thrown when deleting a product feature from a product.
10. Product- Resolved an issue where a timeout error occurred when attempting to link custom item SKUs to options within an option template.
11. Product- Resolved an issue where “Out for Delivery” and “Order Delivered” emails were not being sent.
12. Modules- Resolved an issue that caused errors within the TradeGecko module.
13. Modules- Resolved an issue where the Top Seller module was not displaying the “Top Seller” text on a product.
