If using a gift card or store credit, a customer may be able to place an order with a $0 total. Before, merchants needed to set up a “No Payment Necessary” method which the customer would then have to manually select. But now, this is handled automatically! Customers with a $0 balance on their order will now see “No Payment Necessary” at checkout without having to select it themselves. This makes checkout even smoother and clearer for everyone.
